HELP! Door Handle Replacement

Hi Bros / Sis, 

Yes, I broke my door handle ... and now I have to whine down my window and open the door from the outside every time i need to exit the car. Yes, I look like a muppet every time I do this.

 

Most workshops told me i have to buy the entire panel.

 

I am only looking to buy the handle, C&C have not got back to me.

 

Hope bros and sis here can advise me a workshop that does this... Many thanks.

A trip to Benzline is all u need... but if u broke the whole mechanism. .. you need to change the whole thing

did C&C get back to you on this? i went to google it and apparently quite of search results came back. so not as uncommon as i thought...

edit: kept reading on other forums that mercedes dun sell just the handle, they will require you to change the entire door panel. hope it's not like that for u... good luck!!

can the front and rear be temporary swop ? .. at least less problematic to exit and then slowly find a solution for this ? even ebay i can't seem to find anything ...

 

it seems the local/up north scrap yard could be your only hope if need to change the whole panel ...

Yeah, this is a very common problem in the Cs... and yes, C&C got back to me saying i have to pay 2k plus to buy the entire panel... i clap for them and hung up. 

 

Next up, i decided to DIY myself for a fix... Here is the end result. Problem Solved. Spend 10 dollars, saved 2k... very worth it.
