Independent mechanic/workshop alternatives?

Hi all, first post here and am researching this question for a family member.

 

As an alternative to going to C&C, which apparently can cost rather dear, does anyone have any recommendations for alternative independent mechanic/workshops? Based on my understanding, no major work is currently needed on his car, but my family member is just looking for a place which he can trust and provides decent service.

Hehe of course not -- I'll just compile a short list of workshops and then pass it on to my family member for him to figure out.
