year 2002 is w168 facelift? Long wheel base? Or w169?

I had the w168 from 2000 to 2003.

Generally, the batch before 2000 tend to have quite a bit of problem. After 2000 is a mix of good and bad. The w169 is better. Mine had a faulty gearbox electronic unit and fuel sensor fail. Other than these, its ok.

If its a w168, you need to be forgiving on the car built quality. It is a nice car to drive around but the short wheel base model is more bumpy.

Be prepared for something to fail down the road.
