back Wheel lock after oversea trip :(

Recommended Posts

I was away on oversea trip for 2 weeks and my cars was park in the shelter car parks..

I was surprise that i am unable to move off after engaged to drive , back wheel lock ?

After call the 24 hours assistance, the tour track came and do a quick assess and suspect the back brake might be rusted due to 2 weeks unused .

is our brake so fragile ?

Anyone have experience before ?

thanks

New ride or post warranty..... If post warranty just buy the parts from Goldenlink and get them changed at your preferred workshop...... Will cost you a lot a lot a lot cheaper......

I have send the car to C&C and they say is due to brake caliper which will cost us around 2K :(

I am checking with them tmr whether the extended warranty can cover this ?

Hopefully C&C supports your incident with extended warranty or good will.

And i agree with you that with normal usage, it shouldnt resulted in such.

What about the brake calipers that C&C diagnosed that cost 2k?

it will be a nasty joke if the engineers/mechanics say it is due to your car parked for 2 weeks.
