Hey Guys,

 

Just wondering what to use to top up coolant?

I just did my servicing in July so almost 6 months ago.

 

Got a top up message. Coolant seem a bit low. Temp still seems alright.

Is there a particular coolant fluid which merc uses? C180 Coupe CGI 1.8 

Or just dump some distilled water into the tank to avoid mixing?

coolent top up are usually 50% coolant 50 % water but we usually top up with water. If u want can buy MB coolant to top up

if still want to out coolant, for me, I will only use 30% coolant, 70% distilled water.

Coolant very acidic, radiator will be eaten up, oops.... plus our environment here helps radiator to ko faster with too much % of coolant
