Goodbye B Class forum!

well ... the documents are finally signed and it's now only a matter of days before i hand over the car to the dealer ... the B class has been a great car for me, but frankly it's just not really 'me'. So as soon as my loan broke even, i wasted no time getting quotations and now finally selling it off.

Sad to see a B member leaving... I just got settled in. I did thought. If selling by B for another brand but after thinking... I decided not to. Any advise for me to look out for after 130k of Milage?. And my new W246? They both so far have been great but the older W245 have shown so serious wear and tear. In some case I think the Japs make a better car.

hey mate, the W245 is a pretty good car ... i'm selling only because it didn't really fit me in terms of needs and 'image'. 

 

in any case, what's plaguing your B class? the people on this forum know too many workshops who are really good in taking care of the car so you can be pretty assured. let us know your issues and we might be able to help you out.

Thanks bro. Comforting to know a caring Mercs and ex Mercs community. My W245 is just going through what cars would go through, wear and tear. Not sure what's coming up next. But...hey good luck on your next car and I bet it must have been a great one.

hehehe, well i've downgraded to a Fiat Grande Punto! cost me just $32K for 3.5 years remaining life .... nothing else can be cheaper than that car to run actually - just found out the cost to replace all the suspension on the Punto is just about $400! Compared to the B class front suspension system which cost me about $1.1K to replace ... oh well, different cars after all but i should save me some serious money over the next couple of years
