No Signal Cars

Earlier around 930pm. I was traveling along upper serangoon road near kovan area (food place) towards punggol. I bump into a black car. Black Merc C180. Don't want to mention reg #. Just want to share my pet peeve. Some people should buy car without signal. Save money if you don't use signals. This car cut into lane, no signal. Turning out of a major road, no signal. Sigh.

Lol. Just letting go of my grief. Nothing bad happened as I was going really slow behind the car. But this is basic courtesy to other road users. Happened with other makes of cars. This one happens to be a Merc.

Haha yeah man. Those type of people don't signal out of courtesy... they're basically informing you: hoi i'm cutting your lane arh. you don't give way is your tai ji already.

 

but i guess it's because some drivers are not that gracious..u can signal until the cows come home, nobody gives way..so they butt in.

i signal but kena high beam (not flashing high beam ok)....the jazz was like 30m away and i was changing to the slower left lane....its not even expressway...so i decided to test my bbk.

precisely, seriously it doesn't kill to just let the fellow (who signal) filter in. He didn't, but if he is unhappy, just flash your lights once and i'll gladly raise my hand and say sorry....but not perm high beam. I changed to the hulk immediately. After my first test on the bbk, he then flashes non-stop (like kena anxiety attack)...so I did a second bbk test again...when we reached the red light, we both were the only cars there. Me on the right lane, he on the left, but he stop about 1 to 2 car length behind me...thats when i turned back to Bruce Banner.

 

Sometimes it feels really good when someone says "thank you" when you give way.

Likewise.. For me very simple.. as long as I no need brake I will let you in..

 

I hate those who force me to brake to let them in.

 

Some signal at wrong times and expect people to give way also piss me off

Once I try to be a good guy signal my intention 5 secs earlier than usual. In the end miss the turn becos everyone see car beside signal will step on gas so tt u cannt cut in. More so if ur marsaylee is nicely polik.

Granted Shauns, for these kind of drivers whom accelerate when you signal; you need to squeeze in.  Guess what?  Even better if he has a dashcam.  I dare him/her to share with people saying that we squeeze in.  When people see you signalling in the video and he picked up.  He will be grilled instead.  LOL.. I'd rather do what is right and if others wrong me, then I wouldn't need to answer to anyone.  But when we are caught on video squeezing in without signalling, the matter may be horribly misconstrued by viewers.  cheers.

I like to let people that signal to change lanes, move into my lane. Sometimes they even wave to say thank you. I think if others are trying to do the right thing, I will do the right thing by them. Likewise when others let me in, I always have a cheerful thank you wave and thumbs up for them!

At times, after i had my car cam installed, it gently reminds me to drive more graciously .....

 

But i always signal when changing lane....i getting old already...sometimes check blindspot cannot turn fully...so signal indicator helps.

Think u may consider to add some small mirrors to the sides for blind spots? Though it may not look nice.

Hahahaha....I signal for close to 2km without anyone letting me change lane....so I off my signal and cut in....
