W203 - C200 driver rear floor area wet after heavy rain

Has anyone faced such a problem before on their W203? There was a heavy rain many weeks ago, my car was park at open space car park at Sembawang Park (It wasn't raining when I got there... no, don't even ask me why I was there...:-) when I return I found that the driver side rear floor almost 1 inch of water?! Damn, took me hours to clean and air dry... After many weeks I still can't locate where the water leak came from, left side was ok, only the right side. Anyone knows where might the leak be?

trace your door seal.....

Go car wash...ask them spray spray spray water Jet at the door....1 inch is alot of water collected.

Make sure its not your water bottle spill if you happen to "shake" the car prior parking it at Sembawang....lol.

My guess...heavy rain, flooded, water sipped in. Rain stop, flood level subside, you saw no flood. Why only driver side? Ground level not flat perhaps?

Heavy rain, Check. Thunder & lightning, Check. Carpark was rather far from the seaside, and many many metres above sea level... if there was a flood, I probably might see some fish & crab leftover in my car... lol

Ground level rather flat, only the driver side rear. The driver side front was slightly damp - but I think that's because some spill over from the rear. The left side both front & rear floor mats are compelely dry!

I try check out the door when it's closed, didn't see any holes....
