Wondering if anyone is using the Michelin Primacy 3 ST for E200 merc? Priority is quietness, follow by performance for wet and dry weather condition.

Thanks.

Came across this link http://www.philstar.com/motoring/2013/07/10/963490/tire-its-optimal-prime-testing-michelin-primacy-3-st-khao-yai-thailand and looks pretty amazing.

Same size at  245/45 R17 around S$345 per piece from BENG HENG TYRES BATTERIES PRIVATE LIMITED

BLK 32 SIN MIN DRIVE #01-337 SIN MIN INDUSTRIES ESTATE

64576337

I would rather buy Michelin PILOT SUPER SPORT at lower price than this!

345 is crazy..

In a Merc, most tyres will be quiet. For me grip performance is the most important (isn't that why u spend more than 250 per tyre). :startle:

Anyway, try Pitstop.. quite reasonable price and they will be more than willing to guide you to find your right set of tyres..

i beg to differ about the mentioned shop, feel that they only promote what they have in stock. (at least in my case)

Apology to revive this, my car comes with the Cinturato P7. The two back wheels have only 20% thread left, while the 2 front ones are still about 80%. By right I should change the 2 back wheels soon, but am thinking of changing all of them as  the wheels are all made in early 2010. Saw comment that wheels best not to exceed 5 years.

Question:

1. How are Cinturato P7 compared to Primacy 3 ST? Anyone use both before?

If I change to P7, I can change 2 at a time and spread the cost. But if I change to P3ST, I think I'll have to change 4 together.

Hi,

I have not used P7 in recent times but friend whom had used it says nothing good about it. As Primacy 3 ST, it is a new model but the brand itself wins ( if the price is not too far).

You can always change out 2pcs of the worst P7 and changed to Primacy 3ST. I wouldn't be bothered by different pattern or brand of types. It is only psychological. :)

I just changed out my worn out Dunlop Sport Maxx 18inch that comes with the car to Conti CSC5P

the differences is day and night.. now my car is much quieter.

I asked about primacy 3 but the tyres shop said conti have better grip
