Read some have different experience with V Power. Does its deliver more mileage than the 98?

My first tank with v Power gave me about 567km (before run in 1500km) and 2nd tank with SPC 98, gave me about 660km (run in happened after about half tank). Now I am trying another tank of V power to see if its matches the 98.Then another tank of 98 just to verify all these, as vehicle after run in seems to be more efficient.

Sorry, nothing to do with your fuel mix of different RON. :)

personally V Power gives me more mileage and smoother acceleration. Vs Esso RON98.

Always pump V Power when the promo comes on. Else Esso RON 98 is my every day juice.

Once you fill up with the recommended octane level, using a higher octane level does not improve the fuel economy. This is true for newer engines after the run in period. For older engines who are not running optimally, the octane requirement may go up over time. Hence, using a higher than recommended octane level will help such engine.

The higher octane petrol typically would contain higher levels of additives (e.g. anti-knock, detergent etc) so it will keep your engine slightly cleaner over time. But if you compare octane 98 from different companies, I would say more or less they are the same.

wah so many bottles, does that mean you guys pump every half tank? keke..

Still wondering if we should pump when tank is half or when reserve fuel lighted up. Or we pump half tank every time to lessen weight on car thus promote FC.

any thoughts on the above?

I always pump when tank is about empty, on average once a week. Will definitely get 2 bottles each time.

Gulp! Once a week!? you must travel a lot.

On average for me is 2 weeks to pump full tank. Driving the FL W204 currently, 2months plus old.

Yup, on average I travel 2500km a month. I did my 60k servicing servicing when my car was 2 years old. No choice, for work.

these are normal numbers if you r always on the road. ... I've even heard of a pal whose gas bill is almost $1k every month.... but he earns many many times that amount so it's justifiable. ...

can't differentiate between V-power and 98....for me. Only go for V-power if same price with 98.

But 95 and 98 made different in car vibration level when idling, 98 is smoother. I have same experience with my cureent W204 and my previous W254.

That can be achieved with a little 2T added. It's not increasing Ron from 95 to 98 though. Just the extra lub for the smoothness experienced with 98.

Usual disclaimer applies, though I've been using it for years without problems.

Yup, amount spent has to be justifiable by the amount earned! Not only relates to petrol but everything else in life.
