Current New Car Loan

Hi all,

If purchase a new car at 200k now with 50% down payment.

At the end of the 5th year loan, the trade in value of the car will be around 50k to 60k?

OMG. reminds me of my son's maths. Read a few times to work on the answer. Only to notice...... WTF am I doing.

AND it ain't so simple.

The OMV, the COE, the condition of car, the then COE situation and future policies etc etc etc all will affect the resale or trade in price. Hope this works for you.

Simple calculation would be to use OMV, COE plus body value, would be worth at least that much just based only on scrap value.

Looking at current coe prices and when trading in after 5th year, definitely should be worth much more.

If after 5 or 7 years still have some value not sure if to buy at current climate.

With 5 years loan limit the exposure is low liao..

Use dealer way to caculate safest.. paper plus body..
