Just Cusious whats the Diff Between MBM and KBS.

Both belong to the same boss???

After I install my Kleemann K-box + pullery, I ask Patrick how much will it cost to change the Kleemann belt and when should I change it.

and He said , he dont know cos MBM is selling... will find out and let me know..

This is what i think, there isnt a specific mileage to change the belt, it depend on the belt it self, watch out for the crack line, anyway the machanic suppose to inform us on the changing of this belt.

I thought its like Japan or Korea car, must change all timing belts every 40000 km? or 60000km?

Do we have a figure for the Merc to change the belts?

Merc dun have timing belt, they are using chain.

Bro, they referring to the engine belt.

From my experience, one look at the rubber groove. If you see breakage/cracks on the groove, time to change. Simple as that.

  • 2 weeks later...

i stand to be corrected but the difference as I recall is:

mbm: servicing - the boring stuff (oil change, wiper, repair, etc)

kbs: enhancement - the exciting stuff (accessories, body kit, wheels, etc)
