If you're asking for personal opinions, here's my 2 cents...nowadays, with more reputable workshops servicing your cars (be it conti or jap), I guess it doesn't really make much of a diff. Morever, we're covered by the Lemon Law (this you have to confirm coz I'm not exactly sure what it covers). I honestly can't remember when I sent my car back to AD for servicing unless it's free. Most AD servicing covers superficial things which costs half when done outside.
