Not commenting on whether this particular car is worth it but just wanna say that having driven both the 2008 C180K and the C200K I'd reckon there is a big enough performance difference between them to go for the C200K if it's within budget.

I'd also appreciate the memory seat package that came standard for the C200K. Good luck on your search.  :D

Hi there $91k fer a 5yr old 1.8L IL4 car with $84k km mileage is not that cheap. You can do a comparison with other c180s with same specs.

Better yet do a comparison with Audi A4 and BMW 3er with same capacity, mileage and ask yourself if this is indeed the right car fer u.

And if u do buy, make sure it is a c&c serviced car and do a full inspection with c&c. They can give u a copy of the service logs which will show the odometer mileage upon request. Good luck bro

Just wondering, so does this mean that a c&c car that has full service history with c&c should command a premium vs say (hypothetically), an identical car but from a non- c&c service records?

5yrs old....I think there might be 1-3yrs of record not in C&C if he did service outside.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Do not know how true is this, I was once told by a mechanic that to check if MB's Milage has been tempered with, just need to remove the battery and reconnect, then the real figure will show......

Anyone tried?

hmm...what happens when we really need to change the battery......does that mean the mileage will reset to the real distance everytime we install a new battery?

I still rely on the c&c service logs....if odometer is 35k km I will check to see the mileage at each servicing slowly build up to around that mileage. The obvious signs of tempering is if c&c service logs reduces from 80k km to 35k km.....

I know this is still not a 100% guarantee but it at least drastically reduces the chance of tempering. They will need to edit the entire service log and this is maintained with c&c under lock and key....

This is more for those intended to purchase a pre-loved veh.

i called cnc before i bought my car, they refused to share the info cos i was not the owner.. then took a leap of faith and bought it (luckily no issues).

then called to change owner to my name.

then as owner, i subsequently asked for service record since day one, they told me it is confidential.

wtf is that.. anyone experienced the same :ass: nonsense?
