btw make sure ur rear rims spec is for 255 size tyre

Actually got a rims upgrade from SE , but what he is telling now is size is at Front 225 / 40 / 18 - 7.5 J , Rear 245 / 40 / 18 - 8.5 J ..

If 8.5 J , dun think can fix 255 , so need to be 9 J ????

Any experts can help ???

oh can u tell me what car is it for btw?

for SLK200 i think 245 is enuff for FC and traction... with the 350 Power u will need more grip

i dunno what MB is thinking with the skinny stock tyre... even my mom drive will lost traction... :censored:

the reason SE tell u that 245 is the max is because they want to follow the specs given to them.(Paper with numbers)

in actual fact...http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp it can be done :)

i remember asking my SE about changing my rim to the AMG 55 but he also say cannot la, better keep stock for "safety reason"

they only dun want to do troublesome things.

Also how come both profile is 40F 40R?

our SLK is noseheavy so we need more front profile 40(to support the weight -I believe-) and lesser rear 35 to make it balance.

if u could look at the side profile of the whole car, it quite slanted where the front is lower then rear
