W204 tires

Hi SgMerc Bros,

I just crossed 40k on my W204. I'm starting to notice slight "bob bob" sound coming from my stock Pirelli tires. On closer inspection, also noticed some parts of the tire starting to get botak already. Just a bit surprised that the Pirellis doesn't seem to last. Do you guys have the same experience too?

Any good recommendations for a new set of tires and where would be a place to get them? Hope to get them changed soon for safety reasons?

My previous rides lasted between 50k to 60k. I was expecting at least 50k.

Done all those. I guess that's all the Pirelli can take. Any good tire shop to recommend? Stamford tires?

Ops, sorry bro... I didn't mean that. My csc3 changed at 60k bt is alrdy worn by then. Don't think tires can last for such high mileage. Even don't drive the car often, the tires also hv to change as it may harden. I chg mine to csc5 now... Stamford is abit pricey if you compare with others....

Nvr compromise on tyres.

Tyres are the only contact between your car and the road, sounds cliche but true.

For safety, change them before it becomes bald, or approximately every 3-4 years as rubber hardens overtime especially in our weather.

 

You can try out top93 for tyres and rims.
