What to use for radiator coolant ?

Hi

sorry for asking such noob question.

Noticed the radiator coolant level is low...

would like check if i need to use special coolant or can I just use water ?

be careful what you buy ... not all coolants can be bought off the shelve unless you known wat you are buying and how to mix ... also the key thing for some cars, the coolant used must be silicate-free .. check the manual if this is so for your ride ..

if u need Silicate-Free (which I believe it shd be) .. the easiest one to get is from Shell OAT (no need to mix with water) .. just pour straight into coolant tank ... it's available at Giant as well .. cost lss than $7 per bottle I think ...

coolant level shd not dip too drastically if u maintain the 10,000km service interval ... if that bad, might need to get it checked for leakages ..
