Very nice, i did a paint job and it came off (slightly) after 2-3 months.  Hopefully this lasts longer.

He used Heat Resist.  Not Plastidip though.

 

Bro, you drove X too?  I just sold my X GSR as my wife (P-Plate) doesn't want to drive the W212 and can't drive Manual.  Got a Golf GTI so she can drive and to partially cure my adrenalin needs.  LOL!  Miss that ride! You miss yours?

Bro, been driving Evos for half a decade... 9/10. Manual is de best! I miss de car and Sepang. But at some point, we gonna transit to a more mature kinda car. Lets look out for Evo XI.

Mine was painted not sprayed but Yas mentioned that the peel off was due to the use of Sonax rims cleaner which I use during car wash.

Going back to him to respray with a new coat (yellow or silver)!

Ah! Yes..I use meguiars wheel brightener but I dilute it further so it's less invasive. Actually, if your rims are new and you wash it thoroughly often, you will never need those. These liquids are only needed if your baked brake dust layers are too thick and needs to be broken down. Else, stay away from them. James

Hello Bro.. Not sure if you are asking me but I got mine from a bro. A month ago bro prince abdat and bakuteh dekitted and offered. I got them both. One for my bro's c class and the other me. Both are without pedal shifters. I was told by some; that the steering can be acquired from Pandan C&C or Benzline. Installation at Benzline was 80$ including programming the buttons to work with your Audio Command. Downtime 30 mins and Jeff (the installer) is very knowledgeable according to a few merc bros I've encountered. Hope this helps.

Ps: you may order the steering with pedal shifters if you wish to have them. Not sure how much though...... Enjoy your Merc!!
