Got another problem after I collected car.

 

When start engine got terrible shrieking sound from fan belt area.

 

Goes away after warm up. But the high pitched sound is always there during start up.

I just switch from a Honda to merc. One thing I am still buay tahan is to keep activating air con re-circulation mode

actually it is the same with my old audi. usually i will switch off air con before shutting down the car, and press the air circulation button after i start the car.

I switched from Honda to Mercedes as well and know exactly what you mean. Now I just leave the circulation as it is. You'll be surprised that Mercedes filter is quite good and no unpleasant odours even if you didn't activate the circulation.

After parking I take key out of ignition -everythng goes dead right?

 

Next day drivers seat cannot move and 'locked' in foremost position!

 

Chest pushed against steering wheel and Knees crushed against Binnacle,elbows bent while driving..

 

All the Audi drivers looking at me and smiling!

 

I always kana this. Once I got so angry that i drove to C&C and park at the main door and left the car there.

 

The best way is to off the convenience function and push the seat back to original position before getting off the car. At least if it malfunctions again, we won't have to drive like a goondu again. Thats very dangerous. If airbag burst, i die first.

prepare the triangular P Plate...if it happen again, put the plates up so you will have the natural goondoo look

There is no external air filter. You need to add on yourself.

ya, that's the first thing i thought of too. in army days, this sound from landrover always come from fan belt being loose!!!

ya when I take delivery of my car, the moment drive out from c&c got brake system issue Liao.

Send in check and waited 2hrs and they say no problem, maybe new.

On the way back, MSG comes back and went back to check, they say connection ng..redo and chg parts ok Liao.

Proceed to go home, on the way drop by Mac...after that see one 1cm small scratch on my passenger door... No cars in the Mac cp, I suspect some cb tech in c&c but no evidence...lan LAN suck thumb.

Maybe should chg bmw next time...a lot of my colleague say no issue and some driving for 4 yrs liao

My Lexus also have issues after 9mths, the hifi spoil...either is my luck or nowadays the components manufacturer supplying the big boys hv poor quality Ctrl....

My friend work for MNC say no such thing as luck, if the product fail is either the QC or Reliability dept not performing..he say when a product for 750v is launch, they actually tested it to 1000v for a relentless 5yr cycle...when his level very high and can fire people so talk also very big...I small peasant can just listen and Blaime myself

Only car without issue is my made in japan civic, abuse it to redline and the 2litre engine still works when I sell it...but jap cars drive like tin cans , same for the Lexus...it is actually a Toyota with a Lexus shell

I must say they did immediately replace the belt and in record time too,car washed and polished.

 

Well done C&C this is the service we expect from the premier marque.

 

And guys please compare apples with apples. Toyota? ha,ha.

My previous car was a Lexus and their service was SO MUCH better than C&C.

I would even go as far as to say C&C is putting me off buying my next car from them!!
