Given the situation where a few high profile traffic cases being covered by the media currently, I think the MIW (Men In White) will be on an operation blitz. You see them more on overhead bridges, behind bushes, mid-night road blocks after the bend, spot-checks on expressways etc..

The current media coverage includes :-

1. MX5 crash case

2. Christopher Lee case

3. Penang Road case

Take care and safe driving......

For those in the west, beware on Bukit Batok Road heading towards Jurong East. Most people accelerate after the speed camera and the MIW have set up another mobile camera further down. Seen them twice already.

Sneaky people...... >:(

It is time to buy a Garmin... lock in all the spd trap area on speed based. Set it to 500m range and you are safe....

CKlasse will understand what I am talking abt :)

Watch out especially at Lornie Road.

I once got zapped there early morning, 9am on a Sunday a couple of months back. Funny thing is, I slowed down at all the usual 'hideouts' - i.e. overhead bridges / bus-stops / road corners but never spotted the "sniper". The road was empty too bar for 2 or 3 other cars. Raised suspicion that they could have a elevated 'firing position' on high ground on Mt Alvernia Hospital, or maybe even going around in unmarked car....

Look out also on PIE just after Toa Payoh and slight after that at the CJC overhead bridge. Always can spot a 'sniper' on each bridge in the mornings.

Driving a car in Singapore is already expensive enough ... no need to contribute more to the "well-deserved increment fund". ;D

Many model for the Garmin Nuvi range....depends what you want.

I bought a Nuvi370 with US and Europe map, with TTS and bluetooth. I have been visiting Europe yearly for my holiday, so need the Europe map and the bluetooth acts as my hp headset during driving.
