Hi,

I am using the Nuvi 670 for 1.5 years+ and pretty happy with it.

Cklasse is right if U want a GPSr with lesser features.

a. 1 regional map less. (1 regional map (US or Europe) easily cost about US$100+)

b. Doesn't have the Speech To Text featureas meaning it doesn't annouces road names.

c. No Bluetooth Car Kit

d. No FM transmitter - not so important unless U want the GPRs to play through your car audio system.

e. No Where Am I? feature - Nice to have.

Please take note that Garmin GPRs are strongly supported by MalsingMap, your source for the latest updates of Singapore & Malaysia Maps

Anyway I've made a comparison with the Nuvi 370 & Nuvi 770 for you.

Click the link below and see the different features

Just happened I of my former ICE kaki called me this morning about buying the Nuvi 200W.

Got a msg. from him in the evening; He ended up buying the Nuvi 760 @ Perfect Watch for S$650 net.

At that price, I think that's a good buy.

Aiya wasted... the new Garmin 800 Series comes with voice recognition.... the other interesting feature that is now avail in some garmin models is the incorporation of google earth Panaramio pics, i.e u can download from google earth thru garmin website & view the pic in your picture viewer & click navi to get there !!! This is especially good for Msia.

Cant remember which 200W series also have this feature...

Didn't login for many days!

Sorry for the late reply!

If I am not wrong,

for the Nuvi model ending 60 i.e 360, 660, 760 mean they cum with either North America Map or Europe Map.

for the Nuvi model ending 70 i.e 370, 670, 770 mean they cum with both regional maps.

for the Nuvi mdoel ending 50 i.e 350, 650, 750 mean they have 1 regional map but no blue tooth phone feature

for the Nuvi model ending 10 i.e 310, 610, 710 mean they have 1 regional map but no speech to text feature (don't read out street names)

I think the Nuvi 660 that my fren bought is with the North America map.

Garmin normally priced their regional maps @ >US100+ a pop.

IMHO, Garmin KNN "cleverly priced" their products accordingly to their maps and features. :bootyshake:
