Blackvue DR380

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

anyone knows if the Blackvue DR380 bought through group-buy comes with any warranty?

If there is, where can we send it for fixing?

thanks.

Depending on which GB, you can contact the guy you bought from to ask. I bought my DR400 from a GB sometime back. Covered by 1 year warranty and got it replaced when it overheated. What happened to your DR380?

My DR380's picture starts to get very whitish ... looks like over exposed.

Same as mine, soon it'll be completely blurred. It's the overheating issue.

Hi Guys

I got the same white light vision on my  set also.

When to the agent :-

23 Lor.11 Geylang (388715)

Tel: 84996553

Confirmed it due to the camera len expose too long it the sun.

Upon checking and confirmed that the set is still under warranty and purchase from them ( according there are several agents for such device )

Finally exchange 1 for 1

Pls call before you go down.

That's if you've bought your Blackvue from an authorised shop. Those who've bought from the groupbuy like me, the device is "self imported" by the organiser. The Singapore dealer will not honour the warranty as it's considered a "PI" set.

Yup. Mine is PI set too. I got to contact my seller and pay shipping costs for him to ship back to korea.

Is ITB better or same? My BV internal capacitor died. No backup power. Lens fried.. blur image. Wierd cos I'm hardly driving during afternoon. And I seldom park open carpark.

My original BV was the 400, it overheated. Swapped it for the 380, also overheated. Decided to give up BV about 2 months ago and got the iTB 100 instead. Working well so far but too soon to say, was highly recommended by the agent. We shall see.

bro, where did you get your iTB100 from?

My GB organiser is not responding, I guess I just have to give it up.  Since BV seems to be having so many problems ... I want to switch over to iTB as well ...

Did you have to switch the power cable as well?  Mine is embedded already.  Don't know if I can just use back the same power cable ...

Power cable is the same as BlackVue. You only need to remove the device holder.

I got it from:

From what I know, ITV-80 is the equivalent for Power Magic. But the PM from BV can be used? Anyone can verify?

Yup, I'm using power magic on my iTronic. It's just a module to monitor the battery level left in the car. Doesn't matter which device you plug it in.
