ROLLS ROYCE ON A ROLL

Recommended Posts

According to media report, Rolls-Royce deliveries hit a record high of 29 last year compared to 26 in 2011. This is despite seeing an increase in COE prices last year.

Currently, a Rolls-Royce Phantom costs about $1.3 million.

Rolls-Royce is distributed through Eurokars Group of Companies in Singapore.

In addition to Rolls-Royce, Eurokars also distributes Porsche. Last year, the group sold 408 Porsches which cost more than $400,000 each for a Porsche 911 Carrera.

Eurokars opened its new $42 million luxurious showroom at Leng Kee Road yesterday (22 Mar), specifically to market premium marques such as Rolls-Royce and Porsche. The six-storey showroom has 2 giant vehicle lifts, touted to be the biggest in Singapore, and a swanky bar. It houses the the biggest Rolls-Royce showroom in South-east Asia. There is also a customer lounge with a “floating bar” taking up more than 3,700 sq ft with roof-top parking on level six.

Marble and granite are used liberally throughout the building, and even the washrooms are luxuriously outfitted. The lighting fixtures for the whole facility came up to $2 million, including the Rolls-Royce showroom’s mood lighting created by 4,600 bulbs.

Eurokars group executive chairman Karsono Kwee said, “No expense was spared in creating a luxurious environment for our customers. We want them to feel like they are at home.”

He said, “All this was done in the interests of our customers. They get what they pay for.”

Mr Kwee said that the outlook for Singapore’s luxury car market is bullish despite recent curbs on car loans and a tiered ARF imposed.
