Try this.. on engine.. when stationary move the steering full left and then full right.. can here the squeaky sound? If yes.. then your front entire suspension needs to be replace.

I just did mine... total cost $2600 b4 GST. Now the car is like new car feel!! Feel much more planted and steering sharper!

Hi guys,

my W211FL (so no airmatic) front left suspension is making noise when driving on bumpy roads. Any ideas on what needs changing and its costs?

Penyekz, have you fixed the issue ? If yes, would appreciate if you can share which workshop and scope of work done ?

My '06 W211 (~123K mileage) starts to show these signs :

- when stationary move the steering full left and then full right.. can hear the squeaky sound,

- 'squezz' sound from front left.

actually, a mechanic just greased the suspension joints and the noise went away for a year. now a year on, the sound is coming back. will just get them to grease it again. apparently, the ball joints are worn so making the noise but does not affect performance of the suspensions.
