BMW caught fire on SLE last night

Rumor has it following the incident on SLE last night that the possibility of the fire was due to an unsafe material used in the mods (bonnet cover). Dunno how true... but let's just be safe yaaa!!!

I read this news but the link's photo looks off. 

 

1. It looks on the wrong side of the street.

2. It doesn't look like SLE.

1. the shoulder rd is on the right side.... Definitely not local road

2. Firefighter is from USA.....( look at helmet)

3. It sure is not a BMW.... if it is.... will be at least 20 year old car....

You are right ... the online article was terribly condensed and the image was a sure mismatch. Anyway, this story was covered in today Strait Times.

Could be a Skoda...or even worse Lada.... Too boxy for MKII.... Maybe I'm wrong...
