ATF for W211

Was too kaisu, bou 8 bottles of Mercs ATF 134 (see pic below) where W211 only need 4 bottles for gear box oil change... Wish to let go at cost $19/bottle, self pick up along Balestier.

May i ask when u buy the oil is to workshop labour cost than fully done servicing by them or you intend to do yourself?

ER...you do need 8 bottles when changing ATF... I suggest you keep it.

BTW, this ATF is for 7G but can also be used for the standard 5 speed 722.6 Gear box

However, the standard ATF for the 5 speed is A001 989 21 03 10. essentially a non synthetic ATF

that only cost 12.50 a bottle.

To share: a mechanic cfmd w me to say that for W211 E class (not 7G Tronic series) is fine to use other ATF such as ExxonMobil ...Anyone knows? Pls share and cfm my statement. Appreciate.
