Moderate rain yesterday, once arrived home, saw condensation inside headlights on both sides.

Is this normal?

Rear lights ok.

Yes this is common. Mine resolved itself after 2-3 weeks like Tigershark mentioned and never re-occurred again...

Many thanks to TIgershart, Odessus and johnphua for the prompt reply.

Surprised that this happen initially in Merc which in my previous Japanese cars, have no such issues (but if if happens, means a defect).

OK will parked under the sun and observed.

Rgds,

Halim

No clue if you are able to get it replaced. If I remember correctly, the water vapour fogging issue is even listed in the owners manual. So yes I think your chances for replacement are slim.

The fire shape thingy should be due to the wind pushing the water vapour. Can't see the crack though.

If you read the car manual, it says it's normal to have water vapor. So no worries.

the second day.. which is today.. the vapor is gone... mine kinda fast. . .

We Share the same woes bro. I collected my ride on the 5th this mth and for the whole week there's equal amt of vapor in both front lamps cause it was a rainy week. It resolved by itself after 1.5days thou. Am oversea since hence the car has been indoor for week+ alr. i plan to sun the car and on the headlight even in the day while driving for the next 1-2 weeks so that maybe the seal / joints whatever will heat up and "season" the headlamps and prevent vapour entry for good. Hope it's will disappear for good like some bros here experience! *fingers crossed*
