Hello to all Bros & Siss,

My W211 is a 2004 Model.

My Side Mirrors doesn't come with the Mirror Retract Function.

Does anyone know how to go about in getting it done?

Thank you for all the help.

You can try mbworld.org. Some one has done it before in US. Think it is Sunil or smthg like that for his W203.

U need to buy both the motorised mirror retract thingy & the electrical stuff. U need access to USA MB technical website. Think it cost USD$50 for a couple of days. The instructions there are step by step.

I don't advice you to "Retract" it... Mine is 03' model which comes with the Retract function... but spoiled after 3 years due to water "leak" into it and cause "short" the system... cost me a bomb to fix it... forgot how much... all papers in my car now... if you want to know, will check it out later... cheers... :iconsalut:

w203 owner here~

yeah. if your folding mirror is like one of those that will EXPOSE the insides of the mirror when folded in, then i don't think it will be wise to do so.

after reading the above comment, it is unlikely i will fold them in. (unless really necessary of course)

if yours is one of those that is single hinged, i.e., not completely connected to the body, i guess that is fine...
