Will W212 rims fit W124?

Hi sgmerc bros, does anyone know or tried fitting W212 stock 16 inch rims and tires to W124?

Will they fit, offset and all?

If 16" W212 depends on the rim width and offset!

If 16" with rim width 7.5" or 8" and ET >45 more likely will not clear the brake claipers on the W124

If 16" with rim width 7" and ET <38 likely you can use it on the W124

Din realise the pic did not get thru. It's up now! Those are the stock 16 inch rims that came with the W212.

Not too sure what the specs are though..

IMHO

These rims are likely from a PI W212 not Avantgarde, not Elegance but mnost likely Classic model

Specs for these 16" W212 are as follows:-

Front & Rear: 16 x 7.5" ET45.5

Likely not able to clear your brake calipers without spacers.

However you can go and try it out at the tyre shop

Typical W124 16" rims typically is

Front & Rear: 16 x 8" ET34

Rp 2 worth!

Elegance, single fog lamp. Early batch W212 rims. Now extinct liao haha...
