Problem with my Blackvue

Hi bros / sis, does anyone have a solution to this park mode for Blackvue? My blackvue will shut down by itself after an hour plus when

parked. i have the powermagic Pro installed. Been to many local installer to check, but no one can slove the problem. Trying my luck here

to see if anyone have the same problem before and have it sloved?

What is your power magic setting? Set to shut down after 1 hr? Set to shut down when battery at a particular voltage?

I actually realise that since I swapped my DR400 with the DR380, the over heating issue seems solved already. However my DR380 does shut down by itself intermittently. Can't seem to find the cycle or why it happens.

Set at 6hrs to shut down , Voltage to shut was set at 11.8 which is the lowest aready.

Mine with power magic also has this problem. After chane new battery seems to work fine. Recently, this shutoff problem seems to return again.

yea . mine 380hd too with power magic from group buy.. set to 24 hours and 11.8v.. first day was shutting down by itself in park mode.. 2nd day it died on me totally. so went to a 1 to 1 exchange and from the day i get the exchanged set. i will plug out the power supply whenever i reach my house void deck as already have CCTV at void deck.. to prevent it from dying from me again .. sigh..

Have tried every possisble ways..... my last resort, to tap direct from the car battery, go through Power-magic then to the DR400. Gonna do it tmr.

Yes, just had it replaced last month.

Go ahead and tap the power directly from your battery but make sure U set your Powermagic correctly as per your mentioned settings.

For me, I threw away the Powermagic!

Reason - The DR400 is hot and imagine if U parked the car without aircon under the hot sun. Heat is always a problem to electronics and also the internal battery (very small Lithium Polymer battery)

Did the direct tap, and yes! it's workin fine now, no more shutting down problem. Thanks all for your kind advise.......

It do works on parking mode , its working good as the way it should be.

Hi all, I also bought from the group buy. How do you know when the cam goes dead? Is it when there is no light at all? I do noticed that after a while in parking mode, it stops recording. I thought its because the motion sensor is not sensitive enough.

yes if theres no motion there will be no light if you disable all the led lights. but when it really goes dead like mine previous 1. the side will not have any lights even if you press it . ( i did not disable the LEDs light) or when you plug out the power and replug it back, it doesnt have any respond or light then its dead like my previous cam..
