Dear all,

anyone had experience with the W211 E240 V6?

looking with me dad for a pre-owned W211 and came across a well kept E240 being sold by cartimes.

Is the E240 easy to maintain ie. parts for servicing? Were the brake issues in the earlier W211 models sorted out by 2004 models?

I know motorway is selling a 2006 E240 with 16k milleage and pricing at $145k. You will have to judge for yourself if 145k is value for money. Try the new E230 or E280 if you are looking for E240 kind of performance...

tried the E230 two days ago. worth the buy now since C&C has a promotion on it. comes with Avantgarde. simply beautiful & power is immerse. for better pick-up should use the triptronics or can add the sprintbooster.

prefer the 230 over 280 in terms of smooth street driving, go for 280 if you really need the raw power. Other than driving, the standard package of 280 is worth considering, xenon, adaptive light, etc.
