Hi Guys, im driving a w212 E200 and brake disc and pad is almost due for change.

Would you guys actually choose OEM or Original? Would there actually be any difference between these 2?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), as the name implies, means it is original. You probably mean "aftermarket" rotors and pads.

Hi swissfondue, yes i meant it as Original and Aftermarket. Pardon me man. Is it ok to put aftermarket pads on existing original rotors?

If not going for performance braking needs, the stock pads should be fine and cost effective.

Sorry, I can't be of help here, since there are always two schools of thought. One that says should stick to original/OEM and the other says ok to go for aftermarket for better performance (or value).

Personally, I don't mind going for aftermarket rotors/pads, but go to a workshop that knows what they are doing.
