Payment thru ebay site is very safe & easy with VISA or MasterCard. No worries....

Fixed it up. Could have been a 15 mins job if I had the tool to open the Torx nut. Had to go to my friend's workshop to borrow the tool.

Question for those who got the struts from the Russian website, do the struts feel rough and jerky when you try and open the bonnet when the engine bay is hot? I have difficulty opening my bonnet when I sent my car for servicing last week. It can open but will require additional efforts. Feels back to normal after the struts cooled down after a while. Not sure if the struts that I have are faulty or not.

So far I have not had any issues. I have opened them up several times immediately after driving ... However, ours is slightly different from yours.

No problem with mine....in fact I always open the hood when its hot after a long or spirited drive to cool the engine.

Yours a CLA?  BTW, the prop stick can be removed....reduce weight. LOL...

will leave the prop stick as it is... in case the russian made struct gives way!

NO...not remove, just shift a little. Look at the youtube video at 1st post again.

I think only A class need to shift the ground cable a little bit. For GLA very straight forwards.
