How to connect to CarPlay?

What car are you driving and with which head unit? The car audio system needs to be CarPlay compatible first before you can use the function.

I enabled Siri still cannot work.  Mine's a CLA180 (Aug 2015).  Not sure what head unit. There are only 2 USB ports and they are in the middle compartment between the 2 front seats. Does it require COMMAND Online?

CLA180 is not equipped with carplay compatibility.

Got to wait till the FL A-Class 2016 for CarPlay support.

It'll be an option on Audio 20 and standard on Comand.

The first Mercedes car with Carplay is facelifted A class  in 2016, followed by new E class and the rest of the fleets should follow.

No communication from Mercedes how the existing cars not Carplay supported can connect to Carplay in future yet...
