Sharp shrieking sound when braking at low speed

Need advise.

I am using AMG brake kit for about a year plus now and notice recently that when braking at slow speed before coming to a halt, there is a shrieking sound when applying brakes lightly and slowly at low speed which is annoying. Someone told me it is normally as AMG brake disc has cooling holes and as the brake pad is over the holes it creates a sound due to the air trapped and release from the hole like playing a flute......and the brake pads has been changed but still the same. but I have no such issue in the past. Should I change the brake disc or do ou know what can be the cause.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Regards

Are you using the AMG BBK..6/4 pots? I'm having the brake squeaks issue but I love it..... :D. Most high performance BBK will have this noise...very normal. You can tell the workshop to apply copper grease on the front & back of the brake pad holder...it will go away but only for a while.

I found a solution to the squeal problem.

Apply anti-squeal grease on the back of the brake pad and choose the brand that has less friction using NAO compound.  Less dusty also.

anti-squeal grease and Not Normal Grease....just incase someone DIY with normal grease...lol
