Anti thieft protection for command online

Received one error message on my command online, "Anti-theft protection activated, please visit your Mercedes-Benz workshop". Cannot access radio, navigation, but but reverse camera is fine though ? What happened, anyone knows how to reset this?

Try to close everything, doors and window and lock the car for 5 mins. After 5 mins unlock the car and start engine again. It should work.

Try it and update pls.

I tried again 30 mins later, use the remote to lock and unlock a few times, to make sure, then start the car, everything seems fine now. Very strange. Stop and start the car a few times, everything seems to be back to normal. Will go the c and c to check on Monday. I suspect when I got off the car, if you did not lock it, after certain time, anti thief protection kick in for the command online to protect it from being stolen.

Don't worry about the comand its fine

Even you go back to Cnc they will tell you the same thing as the pin is to to the cr already

Such msg happen to me once.... when I was using a comand system in my car temporary that does not belongs to my car originally. Even though both cars are the same model and uses the same model of comand, one can't simply do a one-to-one swap.

Agree, for retrofitted systems, it's tricky and isn't as simple as a 1 to 1 HU swap especially for the latest Comand NTG4.5. Even the maps require unlocking before the retrofit system works. Factory fitted Comand systems shouldn't have such problems. Do check with C&C.

But my Comand NTG4.5. is factory fitted leh...Nevermind, everything seems to be fine for now, will monitor a few days and see. The logical assumption is that the anti theft is activated if the car is left unlocked for certain period of time.
