Ticking sound driving me crazy

Thank goodness I found this thread! I've owned my FL C180K W204 for a year liao, and when I first collected the car, that stupid ticking sound on the interior left side of the car keeps appearing. It seems to be coming from the left aircon vent, as if there is something lose inside. At times, it seems to be coming from the glove compartment cover itself.

I sent my car to C&C twice, for 2 weeks each in a row, and they still can't figure the problem! I'm trying to live with it now as I can't always send the car in for such long periods due to the nature of my work, but I just cannot tahan!

Worse thing is, everytime I send the car there and try to show them the sound, it would just miraculously disappear! Argh!!

The sound almost always comes on on rough roads.

Recently I also noticed that a contributing factor to the sound is my front passenger seat. Many times, I go over speed regulating stripes, the seat will vibrate quite violently and adds to the clicking sound.

The sound would also get especially bad during hot weather and after car washing.

=(
