Gripes about my new C sedan

After slightly more than 2 months of waiting, I collected my ride yesterday.

For final inspection, I found my driver's window and rear left window cannot auto wind up or down. -.-

Did a slow drive home and did a long arduous night of DIY detailing... mama lemon wash, duragloss 105, mama lemon wash, duragloss 501, duragloss 951.

Today, went to buy rims and tyres. Shop with rims had no tyre stock I had in mind. Went over to another. Had tyre, no rims stock... double back to 1st shop to get rims and... wala!! someone was just checking out the same rim and he bought it... *faint*

Went back to 2nd shop and paid a deposit for monday installation instead. zzz...

Went for tinting after that... along the way... a huge CRACK sound. this type of sound usually boh ho say wan... but laters.

Tinting went well but I noticed my bonnet right side was not flushed with headlight as compared to the left  not the tinting shop fault but bonnet alignment issue i suspect.

bcuz tinting uses detergent, pretty much the DIY detailing needs rework. Ran through the idea in my mind and suddenly I realized... alamak... duragloss 501, then duragloss 105. my Day 1 evening work was done with the wrong steps. *faint again*.

Well, good thing was I needed some detailing rework anyways. bad news is have to start from scratch once more.

Just finished mama lemon wash and duragloss 501. tomorrow will mama lemon wash, duragloss 105 and 951.

Final bad news for today, I found the CRACK sound... windscreen passenger top corner area - stone chip mark.

LOL... what a wonderful way to start a new ride. Day 2 nia... :pinch:

From my past experiences' date=' once you get the first chip/scratch, you are unlikely to get another one in the coming 10 years :)[/quote']

hahaha... indeed. windscreen chip marks don't seem to happen often. but, 10 yrs... maybe i not so lucky. :)

Changed rims and tyres on Day4 and finally completed 1k today. Went for an oil change and fixed up the bonnet.

Unfortunately, power windows auto-wind up/down needs more work. Couldn't get it fixed by today as I sent my car for 1k servicing after 1pm.

No, I'm not with See&See :P

drove my w204 (pre FL) till 20K km liao and still loving its solidity... but there are some warranty issues for rectification (sent in y'day and need overnighting for 2 nites at C&C)... they had to replace my F absorbers (sometimes squeaky when over humps or speed strips) and lower control arm (klock sound when almost to lock either L or R), driver seat like abit loose... just hope this will not upset the alignment...

nonetheless, still a very well made car and the service centre folks are very pro in their customer service so enjoy the ride TS! ;)
