Hi there,anyone encounter this issue,just collected my car 2days ago & today suddenly this BATTERY icon came out of sudden!!

The audio also turn off by itself!!!

My E250 coupe is a PI car and I sending bk to my warrenty workshop tomolo morning....

Anybody encounter this problem b4?

This afternoon received a cal from ws & mention alternator kaput!!!! Got to replace a BRANDNEW pcs :dry:

Car got to leave till next week

Now after 7 mths use to poke in key!

C Coupe with that specs ILS, AMG Sport Package, Panaroof - very very cheep compare to CnC.

Calcite white - didn't see inside!

reset with the Star Diagnostic software without any repair.

Likely not your alternator cos your car could have stop running by now

Went over to the workshop late afternoon and they hv start taking out my alternator!

The mechanic there told me got to replace a new pcs :woohoo:

He told me they hv diagnose and found out alternator is not charging @ all :dry:

If you are not paying for the alternator, then no Qs needed to be asked.

I collected my car on wed around 4pm & drive hm straight .2nd day I drove from my

Hm to office less then 20mins & find out the ECO mode on /off.. I did call up my sale rep & ask him abt the issue & he told me this is becos the car is new & battery is not fully charge yet ..

3rd day same thing hm to office park till 6pm & while driving the battery sign appear !!!!! I did off my engine & restart it gone after a few mins it came bk.. Call up sale rep again & he advise me to drop by the ws the next day..

We are happy for you that your problem solved.

Likely to be intemittent charging by the "faulty alternator" cos a ride with a dead alternator and running just on the battery without charge will not go for a long distance.

Happened to me twice on one of my previous car!

Was running a High Output 230 ampere alternator.

2 alternators conked within a year each
