Creative methods to hide Road Tax / HDB decal

Ok, it's getting on my nerves that my ride's image is spoiled by the 2 stupid decals. Anybody here mind sharing how did you handle those? So tempted not to reveal at all! haha.

HDB decal u dont hv to display it. Road tax put it inside yr glove box when any authorities stop u for that you can show it to them. Or u place it a top right hand corner & hidden by installating a dark sunshade.

I stick my HDB decal at the top where my dark sunshade is. From outside, you cannot see at all.

As for the road tax, haiz... i just leave it..

It really depends to which extent it got onto his nerves.... if he is irritated... he can't work... so better change job also...

TS should stay at private house, work at a place where you can park at non-HDB carpark, and maybe remove the IU as it is far more offending than the two labels.

Reminds me of an article in newspapers years back where HDB dwellers took pains to hide/remove their carpark label in order to let others think they stay at landed property.

dont put up your rd tax disc... keep it in your glove box. why? Will tio fine one leh... right?

i kena rd block before... below is aga aga the conversation:

officer: where is ur rd tax?

me: dont know.. pay at AXS/SAM then think i didnt receive it or i did and forget to put it up.

officer: you know its an offence?

me: yes i know.

officer: so you got receipt to prove?

me: Sir, u want to do road block to check for rd tax, you better have a way to check and not keep forcing me to prove with receipt or rd tax. if i have u wont stop me liao.

After 30-40mins of waiting.... while waiting i was cursing that the online LTA link to check rd tax is down...

officer: ok you can go off now... the check will take very long...

me: Sir, next time u all want to do road block to check road tax. pls have some ways to check and not wasting my time here to prove i did pay... i know its my duty to put it up but i just didnt have it.

morale of the story. u can no need to display it.. just keep it in glove box or u have a receipt prove of payment OR u must be within LTA roadtax check link working hours... MOREOVER... u can buy merz but cant afford rd tax? tell the officer to think abt that... I dont pay my taxes for these jokers to waste my time...

For season parking, pls lor... why bother to put it up? we pay season parking, and those parking attendants have a machine to scan ur disc or manual key in the license plate... so if ur season parking is valid, put it in glove box. if kena book, just go online write appeal say u put it somewhere and the attendant must not have look hard for it to scan. basically just complain. as simple as that....

This thread is getting interesting. Reason for keeping the road tax in the glove box is not a concern in sillypore! When you travel to boleh land (Msia) the officer there eng eng will at times conduct spot check. U.will be fine if are unable to produce one. I got friend whom rental a stolen car & driving for it like 4 to 5 months without insurance & road tax like for 5 months. Then he realise that the road tax is about to expire he ask the "owner" to renew it. Of course the "owner" unable to produce as it is a stolen car & the rest is history.

Sillypore IT system is so pow-der-ful, is doesnt matter u can produce evidence or not coz one check will reveal all. As for HDB are using RFID system rite? Before that using those stoopid coupon system i dont bother to display it at all when i park at my area. Coz my database is in the system, so whenever the chio bu auntie key into the handheld system, i will be fine, i mean okay!!
