Anyone use these car covers from autobacs? Seems like heavy duty but very good quality. They are expensive though, costing around $200 a piece. Any feedbacks from bros using them? All the wording are in japanese, any idea what size is correct for the new FL W204???

Hi Bro,

I feeling is if it is to heavy, it might cause some scratches when you are covering your ride...

Have provided info twice before.

Forget about Autobacs, they are very expensive .

Get it from Knight Auto , located opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre.

The brand is F 1 and size 8 for W 204, $55.

Park yr car few meters away n walk to the shop cos once he sees Merc.... Price is $90

I buy such covers for last 20 years from same shop.

Excellence quality , as hv tried many others brand previously.

Bro, saw your post and brought a size 8 from Knight Auto, got it for $55 as you mentioned. However, the material is quite thin, I work in Tuas, where there are lots of blasting grits and paint mist from nearby shipyards. The F1 cover is good but do not suit my purpose. I need the more heavy duty type.

PS: I have a size 8 car cover to sell, only opened for testing once on my friend's C180. The fit is good, anybody who want it please pm me. brought for $55, selling cheap for $40.

Bro,

I work in Marine n Offshore company too and have used car cover for more than 20 years!!!! Yes more than 20 years and have try almost every brand.

Its not the thicknest of the material, too thick very difficult to roll and heavy to keep it when its rain. Look for the porouscity (weather the blasting grit can penetrate the cover or not...not thick or thin la,,,,) .

I put a container at boot and store my cover when its soked with rain water. Anyway let me know yr findings and happy trying.

Autobacs has those unwoven fabric car cover, I got one from them cost $95 so far this is the best car cover I ever use but there is down side it's thick and quite difficult to fold into small size. Also I bought the size for W203 which at the end is tad too small :( so my W204 butt still bit exposed. Get for 211 size it shuld be better I guess.

Anyway I use the cover mostly when I am going on overseas trip since my condo car park invested by stray cats (someone is feeding them  ) to prevent scratches on the bonnet.
