W202 C200 1996 - Anyone knows the history?

Hi Bros here, I am new here and was looking for a used C class. Saw an advertisement on sgcarmart for this C200 1996 http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=232592&DL=1103.

First time trying to drive a conti, so would like to know if this car is ok to start with. Anyone bros here know the background of this car? Also, how is the maintenance cost of W202? Any particular area to look out for when viewing the car?

Any info or feedback is very much appreciated.

seems to be in a pretty good condition for w202 generation.

if it is a temporary ride, a w124 might a better choose. it is built like a tank!

w202 & w210 was the product of Merc's hippie days. the quality is a bit crapper compared to the previous gen (w124) and the gen after that (w211). (to be honest, even the early w211...)

Thanks for the info. W202 is problematic car? W124 is too squarish to me.

Anyone here letting go of their W203? Maybe I should consider W203 as the pool of car is bigger
