i called star assist twice before and both times a mechanic i knew from C&C pandon loop came down to rescue me.

the call center is definitely managed by AA..... i guess for your issue, probably require expertise of C&C mechanic and so the problem was reported back to C&C?

Probably during work hours! Dun think CnC got mechanics on 24 x 7 on standby

This one I definitely can clarify.

I called them thrice actually.

1st time - 1045PM, Friday. Battery on W211 died. They came over in a Merc Vito (with Merc Art Paintwork) to jumpstart for me. FOC.

2nd time - 7Am, Saturday. Battery on W211 died again. Same Vito. Changed Battery. Charged me for the Battery Cost.

3rd time - 130AM, Sunday, months later. Engine jerking like mad on SLK200. Prolly same Vito. MAF Failure.

In all cases, I was told that C&C Mechs take turn to drive this special Vito back home every night. On average, they get aobut 3-4 calls in a month.
