Scratches on Car

I realize there are cats in my estate that climb onto my car at night to rest. The worst thing is they leave scratches on my bonnet and boot. I sent my car for polishing but it didn't remove the scratches. Guy says it's too deep to be removed completely. There's also a small hole on one of my door, which I'm guessing was caused by someone opening his/her car door and hitting mine. Besides respraying, anyone knows how to remove the scratches and restore the paint? I saw Autobacs selling those DIY touch up brush and pen paint. Is it recommended?

Did you respray your car and ask for compensation from your neighbor? Unfortunately, the cats at my estate are strays. Have already relocated my parking spot. Hope the situation improves.

Yours is open carpark or mscp? Another way to prevent is to get a cheap car cover and cover it overnight.

Mine is an open carpark. Have already bought a cover but find it a hassle especially when it's raining.

I don't think any neighbour will admit blame let alone compensate. I, for one, have learnt to live with cats on bonnets and roofs. Feedback to town council, HDB, and police, have all fallen on deaf ears.

bro so had you solve the problem ?

As you mentioned in your own thread:

so fast that is sad to know' date=' but it is part and parcel of driving a car.[/quote']

The scratches are just not bad enough to justify paying for a full respray job, and the bros here don't recommend using the touch up pen. Have decided to just depend on polish and wax to keep the scratches as hidden as possible.
