Query about new car and optional packages

Hi all,

I recently booked a FL c180 cgi with C&C. SE said to add any options (like the ILS) that require factory fitting, there will not be package price and they will charge car price w/o COE then top up COE amt + option prices, which adds up to be substantially more than the package price.

Would like to seek advice from all here if that's the case. Also, has anyone added such options like ILS or keyless go, at C&C, after car collection?

Apologies if my description is not clear enough. Thanks.

forget about the ILS.. don't think it is necessary in singapore.

when i bought my c class, they told me if i choose something (ie- options & colour) not within their stock, delivery may take longer which is about 6 months. becos of the long delivery, they can only sell you the price w/o coe and only when the car is ready then they will base on the latest coe value and add to the car price.

so i believe that is what they told you and whether can you add the options after collection, i'm not sure.

Most likely cannot..... becos this are programmed during production stage.

Anyway, i may be wrong... just my opinion.

A warm :welcome: to the forum!

Hope U enjoy your stay with us and U will be happy with your ride.

Yes! Having option means waiting for a few months and no "package price"

We do have a bro here who has ordered his C180 CGI and waited a few months for his ride (Collecting this week).

CnC will not be able to retrofit Keyless, ILS, etc after U have collected your car!

Looking forward to see U at our events!!:hand:

I booked my C180 in Oct last year and have waited till "neck long long". Wait should be over by this week.:becky:

Interesting deal for you guys on the booking requirement. I booked mine just like everyone with package price and just add the cost of options. My car price was base on Oct $63k COE then, 6 bids but base on CnC past practice is sure get.

Booked in Oct, order sent in for Germany to assemble possibly in Nov, shipped in Dec and it has arrived in Singapore last week.

If you can wait and willing to pay, go for the options during booking since they are factory fit.

Why wait so long? Usually is 2 weeks to get car right?

You need lots of chance and luck when buying an ideal ride from C&C. From car colour to internal trims and colours and even additional options. End of the day still need to give and take based on what they have in stock.

I agree. If you want your car ASAP, luck plays a big part, especially when the manufacturer has a long options list. Guess it's the same story everywhere, customize and it'll take longer and cost more, but the end results will be a whole lot different.

i think it depends if they have ex-stock or need to indent.

Welcome!! Yes is a list price. If you hv a car to trade in See&See can do alot more magic for you. Quick grabs it now before COE surge!! Pricing will increase slightly due to latest COE result.

so whats the average discount from C&C? any estimation?

one more question...if its fully stock, whats the waiting time?

Why not just visit the showroom? The SE will be able to provide you with more details.
