When I got my car, my SE introduced two shops that are able to conceal the wiring for the portable GPS within the dash so you don't have wires all over the place. I think I paid $20 to get it done. If you're interested I can recommend you the shop I did mine. But with the portable GPS on my dash, I felt it destroyed the nice curve and design of it. Decided to remove it in the end.

Another GPS solution is to go back to C&C and ask them to install a GPS system directly into your Audio 20 system. Service credits can be used for that and doesn't void warranty. Last method I know, which is the one I'm most keen in doing is to retrofit the comand system, however Singapore maps are not yet available for the FL model. I'm waiting for the maps before retrofitting command on my car.

Oh... I never knew that C&C can install GPS system direct onto my Audio 20.

Anyway, where you plan to retrofit the command system? hee

That's not true that Singapore Maps are not available on FL C-models.

All current CnC FL C models comes with NTG 4.5 with latest Singapore Maps.

Only our after mkt COMAND retrofit guys i.e ricric_lo & camber53 has yet to get a copy of the NTG4.5 S.E.A maps.

AFAIK CnC do not retrofit after mkt GPS directly to the Audio 20.

It's only "an informal assistance" with the SE and the owner for an outside installer to do it. If it's the "Tom Tom" system imho not worth it as map updates are hard to come by!

"YOUR GPS IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR MAPS!"

Didn't know it's available already, that's great! I emailed ricky a few days ago but have yet to get a respond from him regarding the maps. Thanks for the update!

As for retrofitting the Audio 20 system, my friend did it at the Eunos service center. Installation was done by C&C, and the bill was also charged from C&C. They installed the AGIS navigation system.

God bless!

Dunno now!

2 years map updates for AIGIS is not easily available and also it's not free.

I went the Garmin way with Garmin GVN53 going through the Audio 20 screen.

I'm also going to use portable GPS...now thinking of the best position to place on the dashboard without the windscreen suction holder which is hopeless after a while under the sun.

Oops. Sorry it's actually $40. Typed too quickly on my iPhone and didn't check, my bad. I did mine at Autotrend.

Is the shop you went to at Zion road Pin Liang? My SE recommended me these two places but told me Autotrend has better workmanship.

Has anyone tried Galatio GPS? The installer told me its LTA approved and much more complete than garmin in Singapore. Garmin is better for overseas like USA.

I took a look at the website and it seems pretty good.
