Check with LTA.

LAMP POST will be cheaper than a full grown tree.

Cost of new lamp post and the installation fee and labour and admin fee. Not counting the TP penalty fees n point penalty

U so lucky. Tree never fall. Actually is better to make the tree fall as u will pay less.

Hit tree n tree don't fall - LTA and NEA need to monitor the tree condition and build support to hold the tree in position and analysis the results. U pay for all these things. If the result say the tree must go as too dangerous to let it grow in this postion, u need pay for the chopping tree fee n clearing log fee. And LTA will replant another tree normally and u need to pay for that. The older the tree, the more painful is your pocket

That's not fair !!! Car knocked tree kanna fine . Tree fall on car leh ???

Tree fall on car. U settle the damage yourselves. Recently marsiling drive got tree fall on one van - the whole tree got uproot during the rainy storm. And crash the roof of the van.

The van is beyond repair. He can only claim the OMV from insurance. Town council and NEA just chop all the remaining trees along the stretch of roads n replant with young trees
