Parting with my E250 Coupe

It's been like a fling... 7 months... and today i am parting with my e250 coupe... i thought i won't feel sad about it but the truth is i am. It was an moment of impulse 7 months ago. i didnt even test drive the car. The sleek design caught my attention and I decided to leave my 523i for this sexier coupe.

I like the car for the comfort ride, the design, the road tax, the efficiency etc. I would have kept the car for my wife but she prefers the drive on her scirocco. Yes, the drive. That's also why i decided to part the car. I miss my BMW. The 6 cyliner engine. No turbo lag.

I was a tough decision. No regrets of my decision 7 months ago. Not sure about this current decision. I will miss this car for sure.

When i sold my 'soul' (325ci) and switched side to a W204, i thought geez... BMW u got alot to learn to on how pamper the driver with extra features. After 6mths of driving... god i miss my Bimmer. The ever- forgiving handling, driver's feedback, soundproof... and best of all the 'sports' mode is just a tug, on the gearstick, away. (Not 'press' the button) But, no offence, i still feel Merc is more matured than the 'arrogant' Bimmer image though.

Good bye my love!....爱人说再见!!!

The only bimmer I ever own was a 1977 E21 320

I tried luving the F10 523i HL ended with a E250 Avantgarde

I test driven the X3 xDrive35i and ended with a ML300

A little bit sum si si on the Bimmer 5 series touring.

Maybe have to try harder.....but 财神爷 no come....kekeke!:pound:

Bro... some how i feel Merc is more "ATAS". the prestige is stronger than BMW. No doubt about that. BMW is a driver's car. Merc is for people to see. haha.

It's OK bro, you are not alone .... I also switched from E90 to the W204 and my was only the 320i ...... I still miss my Bimmer after 1 year. The W204 is nice with lots of nice touches here and there that the BMW does not have but at the end of the day, Merc is Merc and BMW is BMW.

I am waiting patiently for the F30 and my heart say BMW ... BMW but my brain say Merc .... Merc.

Wait for the new F30 to arrive in Feb 2012 and go test drive ... Now can test drive the X1 (with the new 2.oL turbo engine) and the new 1 series. I was looking at the X1 before buying the W204 but PML did not offer a good deal for my E90 and C&C's package offer was much better.

You got to drive it to get that feel ..... if test drive at Alexandra, ask the SE to let you drive to the "99 turns" at South Buona Vista.

How I wished ..... and if only if I can afford to. A weekday Merc and a weekend BMW. I guess only in my dreams...
