Check with LTA, they should be able to help...:music:

Unlikely anyone here will name the workshop. By the time u reach them already most likely wind up by the authorities!! Get it??

Perhaps u can ask yr friend directly instead posting in the forums.

The old 520 has a 6 in-line engine which is the same as the 530 engine...if his mechanic is really good, he can transplant the 3.0 lit engine & get away with it with same engine number. As for C class, if you want a bigger engine, it will have to be the V6 engine from C300 or C350 , or better still the V8 C63. If you can use some imagination, changing from a 4 cylinder engine to a V6 or V8 is rather blatantly obvious to LTA mandatory inspections. I highly recommend that you change the car, easier & less headache.

go up-north maybe got better chance of finding a workshop to do it for you...

this is Perodua kancil use L200S engine and converted to supercharge..

the engine running on instant boost about 6psi, max boost 8psi..and the supercharge sound is just like F1..

C180 or C200 import/ transplant says C350 or C63 Engine is possi despite its of a diff engine has diff number of mountg pts! Largely Coz it shared e same platform/ Chassis!

Bt it's a big project which involved many other parts ie: Fuel regulator, fuel pump, extractor, pipes etc...:becky:

its not difficult to buy a bigger engine and even a new one wont cost too much.. no issues on that.. the only issue is .. you have to declare to LTA and pay the corresponding Road tax...and possibly higher emission tax ( if introduced)

On the contrary, LTA will not entertain any engine transplant, particularly a bigger engine. Unless the engine is really kaput, a similar new engine is allowed...but must undergo stringent LTA checks.
