Hi Guys!

Went to Starblack for a check thanks to Leon recommendation! Very Good service. Nothing was wrong with the car!

It must be wife and me being too sensitive!.... oh no... car is lacking in power haha! Yup it's the 1.6 Kompressor and it has its limitations.

CGI is very, very tempting especially after trying out the turbo model with the sports suspension set up! Time to buy more 4D haha!

Maybe it's Skippy affecting your feel?

You should really go try the CGI and check on the trade up difference. No harm asking and giving yourself extra motivation to work harder. The FL cabin also very swee! :becky:

Good question...this is often discussed & debated. To have the same torque & bhp of all these different engines, the easiest examples are the 2.0T, 2.0SC & a 2.5NA.

For best FC, the turbos & superchargers are better performers when they are driven sanely in normal conditions. Conversely, if one's right foot is like heavy leaded, the FC suffers more than a NA car.

In terms of drivabilty in S'pore road, NA & SC cars are better performers. The low end torque is better for a quick dart in & out of traffic. However, the turbo will be better in highway driving or the B roads in M'sia.

For tax savings...it's a no brainer that 2.5 is not the way to go:becky:

how abt realiablity? will the NA be more realiable than turbo or super charged cars? maybe turbo/super charged cars will have more issues because they are pushing more from a smaller engine. am i right?

Not necessary...in the good old days, turbo units were rather unreliable as they needed to be cooled before shutting down the engine. Current generation of turbo & SC cars are better built & highly reinforced for the high performance. No difference in reliability between NA & turbo/SC.

Haha! When wife is late for work, she prefer skippy to W204! The blower on skippy is great but still lose to the turbo in the top end!

Saw a evo on my rear view and floor skippy! Took a while for evo to catch up due to his turbo lag! haha! The fun of a small car hee hee!

The interior is nice! Too early to trade up bro, I was hoping in 3 to 4 years time. Either the new c class which i heard from my friend is a absolute beauty based on sketches from Germany! Should join the merc members o buy 4D lo! haha

U can change the Kompressor pulley to squeeze more power out of the engine. It's always the first thing to do on a supercharged car.....

Then probably gotto get headers & sport cat to extract out the extra boost!:becky:
